Religion
When he was asked if he was a Hindu he replied that he was a Muslim, Jew, Christian, Buddhist and Hindu. This showed that he respected every religion. He stated that every religion has truth to it. He highly respected and related to Prophet Muhammad's (Peace Be Upon Him) teachings and regarded them words of wisdom not just for Muslims but for all of mankind. Gandhism is the journey to discover the truth rather than necessarily what Gandhi considered to be the truth.
